Services

Berkeley Addiction Treatment Services (BATS) is a non-profit opiate treatment program (OTP) providing medically-supervised withdrawal OR medically-assisted maintenance therapy utilizing methadone and counseling to provide opiate dependent patients improved health and quality of life.

BATS does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.


To be admitted to our programs, patients must have a documented history of opiate dependence and a documented history of several prior attempts at treatment. Patients are screened for active medical and psycho-social issues. Screening is offered for communicable diseases. BATS is certified by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals and Clinics (JCAHO), the nation's most prestigious accreditation organization.

We are open every day, but we do have limited hours on weekends and holidays.
